Contents of the Dark Chocolate Package

* Krak Tanzania 70%

Mark Schimmel is the Dutch master when it comes to making bean-to-bar chocolate. Enjoy this Tanzania bar. Made from the finest beans and fully traceable. Expect a nice round chocolate with a taste note like yellow fruit.

* Akesson’s 75% Madagascar

This bar is made from beans from our own plantation in Madagascar. This soft 75% is the cradle of many chocolate makers who use Akesson’s cocoa beans. Expect a firm dark chocolate that melts away in the mouth. Also here a nice acidity as one would expect from a chocolate made with cocoa from Madagascar.

* Original Beans Congo 70%

A beautiful dark chocolate of which a tree is planted every bar sold, part of the proceeds also go to the mountain gorilla in Congo (Virugna National Park). This chocolate reminds us of a good red wine. A bit of tannin and a nice dark finish with the sweetness of cherry.

* Chocolate Makers Peru 80%

This chocolate is made with criollo cacao beans from the Amazon. Expect a nice round taste with a little bit of lemon.

Original Beans

Original Beans werd opgericht in 2008, maar het zaadje voor het idee werd al in 1795 geplant. Philipp's voorvader schreef een boek over bossen en het belang van duurzaamheid. 213 jaar later verliet Philipp zijn baan bij de Verenigde Naties om een bedrijf op te richten dat een van de eerste klimaatpositieve bedrijven ter wereld werd, gespecialiseerd in het maken van verrukkelijke chocolade.
