Rosehill Estate is located at the beginning of the green and beautiful Tamana Mountain, north east Trinidad. This area is the cradle of fine flavour cocoa, you will come across old varieties that still grow there. The chocolate from this region brings fruity and floral flavor notes.

The chocolates of Mikkel Friss Holm are characterized by its typically soft mouthfeel. He added some milk powder to this chocolate to create a delicious dark milk.

Duane is a cocoa farmer and plantation owner. He bought the Rose Hill Estate plantation in Trinidad a few years ago and reworked the existing cocoa plantations and added new plants. Trinidad is a very old cocoa-growing area where the Trinitario variety originated from the cross between Criollo and Forastero and is named after the island.

Mikkel Friis Holm is an excellent chocolate maker from Denmark, who had the idea for the dark milk chocolate. Duane supplies his cocoa beans and Mikkel makes the chocolate.

The chocolate is a bean to crack chocolate and a dark milk chocolate, i.e. a milk chocolate with a high cocoa content.
