This limited edition bar is the first to have the cocoa beans both grown and fermented on the Reserva Zorzal estate and bird sanctuary. With every bag of Zorzal beans, we purchase carbon credits through Plan Vivo, a carbon offset project that pays local farmers to set aside a portion of their land for the growth of native trees.

Instead of striving for a menu of flavors from the beans, chocolate maker Janelle had the entire reign to test and persuade innumerable flavor profiles to do what was naturally the case.

All of our single-origin chocolates are made using only cocoa beans and sugar; No added cocoa butter, lecithin or vanilla. Our chocolate is free from soy, dairy, eggs and gluten and is made in a factory that does not process nuts.
