Chocolate and coffee are a golden combination. With our partner Giraffe Coffee Roasters from Rotterdam we did a tasting and made a beautiful coffee and chocolate set. In this set you will find our amazing fruity sweet creamy Monte Alto coffee with two bars of Chocolate from the Dutch brand Krak. A bar with 70% Vietnam and a bar with 70% Madagascar.

This is what you can expect from the interplay of Monte Alto, Vietnam and Madagascar

The game of trials is highlighted here from two sides. First of all, take the Vietnamese chocolate. Let it slowly melt in your mouth to experience the slightly smoky aromas. Together with the coffee, this ‘Vietnam’ forms a beautiful spicy symbiosis in which fresh berries finally emerge.

The Madagascar puts natural coffee in a different light. You can taste the nuttiness (peanut) in the coffee much more. It is striking that the coffee weakens the acidity in the chocolate and brings out the deeper, fuller notes in the chocolate.
