It all started when...
...Ray came home from the Amsterdam Coffee Festival in 2015 and said to me, "Honey, we're going into chocolate!" Now, we are both certified chocolate sommeliers and judge at international chocolate competitions. What started as an online shop in 2016 has grown into a beautiful chocolate boutique at home in The Hague.
We are Sanna and Ray, and we are excited to share our passion for exceptional bean-to-bar chocolate with you. In our specialised chocolate shop, we offer you the world's best artisanal chocolate, prioritising quality, sustainability, and ethical production.
The shop is located at the beginning of Groene Mient in the Vruchtenbuurt of The Hague. A social ecological CPO project that they set up and built sustainably together with 32 other neighbors.
The houses are completely self-sufficient in their energy concept. They also share a beautiful permaculture garden equipped with Wadis, with an eye to the future.
This possibly makes the chocolate shop the most sustainable and greenest chocolate shop in all of The Hague, and perhaps even in the country.

Sanna
Owner
Sanna loves taking on challenges. With her many years of experience in the food industry, Sanna has helped the company reach its current position. Sanna is one of the most creative minds and a true connoisseur. With experience not only in chocolate but also in wine, she is driven in pairing, composing, and advising products from the store.
The most delightful product in the store? "That would definitely be Sam van Bitterzoet's chocolates. I've never tasted such elegant, flavorful natural creations. Sam collaborates a lot with food forests and loves foraging. He knows his products and also how to preserve them for use or to keep them longer. Additionally, the chocolate truly shines. We don't ship the chocolates, so you'll have to come to the store for these. :)"
Ray
Owner
Founder and chief visionary, Ray is the driving force behind the company. He keeps busy by contributing to the development of new flavors, marketing, and customer experience strategies. His years of experience in online marketing keep him sharp, focusing on innovation and improvement of the online presence. Fortunately, he also regularly rolls up his sleeves in the shop and makes the best coffee!
The most fun product from the shop? "The bars from Menakao from Madagascar, but also the Beni Wild from Original Beans. This Bolivian chocolate is rare and made from a wild cacao variety. Completely vegan with amazing flavor notes like honey and jasmine. It's fantastic when customers say they don't like dark chocolate but then come back for this bar. It's also a great bar for pairing; white tea, wine, coffee."
