The beans come from Waslala, located in the UNESCO Biosphere Bosawás in Nicaragua. The cacao is characterised by deep earthy tones with hints of nuts and grasses. The bar melts easily, releasing these flavours quickly.

SAASE is what it is called in Spanish:sin sugarsaddedsinesweeteners, or:no added sugars no sweeteners. There is agave fibre incorporated into the chocolate. But what is that?

Something can be called sugar-free if it has less than 0.5 grams of sugar per 100 grams. However, chocolate – and many other products – naturally contain sugars anyway. And what is agave fibre? Blanxart clarifies this by printing 0% twice on the packaging.
