Origin: Ambanja Valley behind the Sambirano River, north of Madagascar

Variety : Trinitario cacao

Details: this cocoa comes from a cooperative consisting of 800 farmers from 16 villages. The cooperative invests in a health care system for the farmers in a form of insurance. The cooperative also ensures that the government will invest in improving the roads so that transport can be made easier. Harvest season: November to December.
