Raw, organic and vegan.

This ceremonial cacao comes in chunks, sometimes large, sometimes smaller, in a bag of 400 grams. Dissolve it in water or, if desired, pre-grind it in the food processor.

Recipe tip:

Espresso kick: use 15 to 20 grams of cocoa with 100 ml of water and add spices to taste

Ceremonial doses: use 35 to 40 grams of cocoa with 125 ml of water. Add spices to your own taste.

Spice tip: mix cinnamon, anise, ginger powder and some chili flakes, use 1 to 2 grams on 1 cup.

Make it a bit sweeter by adding e.g. coconut blossom sugar or maple syrup.

Water can also be replaced by (vegetable) milk, then first dissolve the cocoa with a little warm water.

Details: this organic cocoa comes from a cooperative of organically certified farmers from Peru. For example, this 100% cocoa contains 3 x more antioxidants than green tea. Small dose is similar to a shot of espresso. If you use more than 40 grams, it can be used ceremonially.

Tasting notes: Chocolate, earthy and floral.
